Aids to Navigation Managment
The Aids to Navigation Management (ANM) Committee deals with the management aspect of aids to navigation services. The committee aims to develop and review related IALA documentation on issues such as channel design, management of services relating to AIS networks, the maritime buoyage system and quality management systems. The committee is also responsible for the maintenance of the IALA NAVGUIDE, a comprehensive reference document. A new edition of the IALA NAVGUIDE is published every four years, with the next edition due for publication in 2010.
