Adaptation
1. Vorgang der Anpassung des Sehorgans an Leuchtdichten und Farbreize im Sehraum.
2. Endzustand dieses Prozesses. Im besonderen spricht man von Helladaptation oder Dunkeladaptation, je nachdem die Leuchtdichte von mindestens einigen Candela je Quadratmeter oder kleiner als einige Hundertstel Candela je Quadratmeter ist.
