The International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), in association with the Light Dues Boards Peninsular Malaysia, hosted an IALA Seminar on the IALA Risk Management Tool – IWRAP MkII from 20 to 24 April 2009, at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel & Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), in association with the Light Dues Boards Peninsular Malaysia, hosted an IALA Seminar on the IALA Risk Management Tool – IWRAP MkII from 20 to 24 April 2009, at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel & Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


The seminar introduced the revised IALA Risk Management Tool (consisting of IWRAP MkII and PAWSA) and provided training on the use of IWRAP MkII, using practical examples. The new IWRAP MKII replaces the previous IWRAP tool. Participants benefited from the presence of expert trainers and, in addition to provided practical examples, had the opportunity to make individual case studies.
