About the course
The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to Aids to Navigation (AtoN) data, specifically S-201, S-125 and S-124. It is expected that participants will be able to understand the Product Specifications for the S-200 series and how they may impact their daily tasks associated with AtoN by the end of the course. In addition, participants will be given an overview of the scope of work that needs to be completed for this transition. Participants will have the opportunity to observe a sea trial on the last day, in which they will be able to learn more about the practical application of data exchange and observe real-world data exchange.
Training Delivery
A hybrid approach will be employed to deliver the training, which will include an online pre-reading component and a face-to-face component.
The Training will be facilitated by global experts in S-100, S-200 and data product specification development.
Venue
The training is hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) of the Republic of Korea, and will take place at Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology KIMFT, in Busan.
Training fees
1000 Euros which includes: training materials, lunches, official dinner and coffee breaks.
