You may download the latest “Basic” version (free of charge to IALA members) from the ”installation” page on the IALA IWRAP Wiki site http://www.ialathree.org/iwrap/index.php?title=Installation

Once you have downloaded the software, you must go through the “License Request procedure” as described on this page: http://www.ialathree.org/iwrap/index.php?title=License_Request_Procedure

This enables you to run the basic version of the software for a period of one year.

Please note that the basic version is rather labor intensive and time consuming, and you will need to have access to some type of AIS analysis/statistics tool in order to successfully perform a risk assessment using the software.

As was mentioned at the 2010 IALA Conference in Cape Town, a commercial version is expected to be available very soon, where the extraction of information from AIS data is more or less automated, reducing considerably the time needed to perform the risk assessment and improving its accuracy.

Please note also the user manual and FAQ section of the IWRAP wiki. I also recommend highly attendance at one of the IALA IWRAP training seminars where your analysts can learn how to avoid pitfalls and how to make best use of this tool.
