World Marine Aids to Navigation Day

Italy is hosting the main event celebrating the World Marine Aids to Navigation Day which will be held 2-3 July 2024 in Genoa.

The event will include a visit to the “Lantern”, a centuries- old symbol of Genoa in order to celebrate the nomination as the IALA Heritage Lighthouse of the Year.

Course on Procurement Processes and Practice for Marine AtoN Professionals

May 20, 2024

The IALA World Wide Academy will be running a course in Istanbul from the 20th to the 24th of May, kindly hosted by the Turkish Directorate General of Coastal Safety (Kıyı Emniyeti Genel Müdürlüğü). Students will be provided with practical AtoN procurement tools and knowledge that they can apply in their everyday work to help navigate potential procurement problems and implement successful AtoN projects that assist in mitigating navigational risk.
