Vacancy notice – Technical Officer

Responsabilities will include:

  • Serve as the secretary to IALA’s technical committees, ensuring that activities align with the organization’s policies and strategic vision. This includes facilitating meetings, coordinating with committee members, and contributing to all documents of the committees.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of IALA events, including workshops, seminars, and other gatherings, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and impact.
  • Manage the development and revision of IALA’s technical documents and ensure that all publications are up-to-date, accurate, and of high quality in line with IALA’s style guide.

Course on Procurement Processes and Practice for Marine AtoN Professionals

The IALA World Wide Academy will be running a course in Istanbul from the 20th to the 24th of May, kindly hosted by the Turkish Directorate General of Coastal Safety (Kıyı Emniyeti Genel Müdürlüğü). Students will be provided with practical AtoN procurement tools and knowledge that they can apply in their everyday work to help navigate potential procurement problems and implement successful AtoN projects that assist in mitigating navigational risk.



Workshop on AtoN Engeneering
